The following terms and conditions constitute the basis of your
contract with Mountains 2 Coast. Please read this information
carefully.
1. On booking you must pay a deposit of 30% of the total cost
for your stay.
2. You must pay the final balance no later than 6 weeks before
your arrival date. The damage deposit is due with this payment.
3. We reserve the right to cancel your holiday due to non-payment
by yourselves on the agreed deadlines.
4. We suggest that you take insurance cover to protect yourself
from unforeseen circumstances causing you to cancel your holiday.
Your cancellation must be in writing. If you cancel prior to
6 weeks before your arrival date you will have forfeited your
deposit but will not be charged the final payment only a £100 admin charge. If you cancel
less than 6 weeks before your arrival date you will have forfeited
your deposit and final payment but the damage deposit will be
refunded to you.
5. Should we need to cancel your holiday booking due to unusual
and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control or force majeure,
you will receive a full refund of the monies paid to date, no
compensation will be paid.
6. We are not liable for matters beyond our control including
inconvenience, interruption to public utilities, annoyance, nuisance
or other local disturbance.
7. Due to the nature of the rural location we cannot guarantee the complete absence of insects/mice etc at The Farmhouse. No compensation will be paid.
8. We can accept no responsibility for your holiday arrangements/travel
etc. We suggest that you have taken out travel insurance and
we suggest you have a E111 form.
9. We are not liable for any accidents or injuries which occur
during your stay at The Farmhouse.
10. If there are any problems which
appear to be our responsibility during your stay then you must
follow this procedure:
(i) Contact our office/out of hours emergency
numbers, as provided to you on our final confirmation of order.
(ii)
Allow sufficient time for us to deal with the problem and bear
in mind that we may have to contact various suppliers. Unfortunately
some problems such as those arising from the climate (water
shortage, storm damage etc) are beyond our control. Whilst we
cannot be liable for these problems, we will do our best to help.
11. It is your responsibility
to take good care of the property and its grounds and avoid causing
nuisance to others. We reserve the right to deduct costs from
the damage deposit to cover any damage, loss or unusual cleaning
charges. If your conduct affects our relations with the local
residents then we will hold you liable for losses resulting.
12. When booking, you accept these
conditions whether or not you have signed the booking form.
13. For the comfort of future guests, The Farmhouse has a no smoking policy.
14. The management reserve the right to decline bookings.
15. If your payment is being transferred
from overseas please allow sufficient time for it to clear prior to the
deadlines. An overseas cheque would need to arrive 28 days before the
6 weeks deadline to clear. Alternatively we can supply you with our bank
details to allow you to complete an international transfer.
16. Pets are allowed at the discretion of the management upon booking. Whilst at The Farmhouse they must remain downstairs and are not allowed on the furniture. It is your responsibility to clean up after your pet and check the garden before you leave. Any extra time required by the housekeeper for cleaning will be deducted from your damage deposit.
17. Details of a baby sitting service can be provided upon request. Please note that all bookings and payments are between yourselves and the baby sitters and are separate to Mountains-2-Coast.
